SKI LODGE 1

Set at Sunday River in Maine this single-family ski home provides a functional and pleasing place for family and friends to enjoy the mountains. Direct ski in options from the rear of the building provided the opportunity for large windows and decks facing the south and mountain views. Recreation room in the basement, with bunk rooms for the children keep the adults separate on the main living spaces. Great room and master bedroom have cathedral ceilings facing the mountain, as all main rooms take advantage of the views and natural light of the southern exposure. For those who ski, this ski storage room is a functional necessity to top off this design. The exterior was designed with a more contemporary look with large windows black in trim and three different siding materials were used to break the massing in a comprehensive and attractive manner.
